Left-back being targetted by a number of Premier League clubs

The transfer rumour wheel never really stops churning, which is why it is one of the many aspects of football that so many fans continue to enjoy.

Indeed, with the end of the season approaching, there will be a number of teams that will be looking at potentially finding targets that are available to acquire and sign, with holes being required to be filled by the club.

It becomes such an exciting time for fans, too, as many of them will be interested in seeing who their team decides to bring in or let go, whilst they can couple the experience by using sites like casinos8888 where they can place a wager on what happens!

And, one of the bets that they might want to start thinking about is the potential destination where Matt Targett might end up.

The left-back is already plying his trade on loan at Newcastle United as he departed Aston Villa following their acquisition of Lucas Digne, which is why the Toon Army are thought to be in the driving seat, especially as there is a reported £15 million agreement between the two sides if they want to make it a permanent switch.

However, according to a report by the Birmingham Mail, it would seem that Targett has plenty of options to choose from this summer, with Premier League clubs Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United all said to be interested.

Eddie Howe is yet to publicly confirm whether Newcastle will look at bringing the left-back on a permanent deal at the end of his temporary stay, but it would appear likely given what he has already managed to provide the side as they shot up the table.

Targett has been a valuable asset to the Magpies this season since joining in January and has played every single minute that has been possible.

There is no denying that Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United could all be appealing options, but the best one would certainly appear to be where he currently is.

It would also seem likely that he would be happy enough to stay at St. James’ Park and continue to settle, rather than perhaps move once again. The Toon Army are enjoying an incredible run and the left-back will seemingly want to continue to be a part of that story.

However, perhaps Newcastle will look at the market and see what is available before making a decision on his future?
