Real Sociedad pulled one back again in the 85th minute of the game as Mikel Oyarzabal scored. However, the team were unable to make more of an impression.
Barcelona increased the lead to 4-2 just five minutes later when Sergi Roberto scored, with an assist by Martin Braithwaite. The 4-2 goal was the last one of the game.
Barca will host Athletic Club on Saturday. Sociedad will face Rayo Vallecano at Reale Arena on Sunday.
