The home team Crewe and the visiting Cheltenham claimed a point each with a 1-1 (1-1) draw in the England League One game on Saturday.
There was no real shape to the match until Crewe took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Mikael Mandron, who scored, making it 1-0.
Cheltenham equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Andy Williams scored. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended 1-1.
Crewe will host Charlton on Saturday. Cheltenham will face Burton on Friday.
