Leicester City and West Ham United are keen on signing the Hungarian defender Attila Szalai.
According to NTVspor, the two Premier League clubs will follow the Hungarian defender closely during the European Championships and they are expected to make their move for him once the Euros are over.
The report adds that Fenerbahce are not keen on selling the 23-year-old defender this summer unless there is a lucrative offer on the table.
The 23-year-old central defender is highly rated across Europe and he could prove to be a quality addition to David Moyes’s back four.
Szalai contributed to six goals and three assists from the back this past season and he would be an upgrade on the likes of Craig Dawson if he moves to the London club.
Meanwhile, Leicester could use a quality centre back as well especially with Jonny Evans in the twilight years of his career.
Both clubs have the resources to come forward with an attractive proposal for the 23-year-old and it remains to be seen where the player ends up eventually.
A move to the Premier League would be the ideal step-up in Szalai’s career right now and the likes of Leicester and West Ham could help him improve as a player and achieve his potential.
