An English source told about the details of the talks between Tottenham head Daniel Levy and coach Antonio Conte. Previously, the club refused to hire a specialist.
Conte asked for a £ 15m salary. Levy suggested that the coach call the salary more modest, since now only Josep Guardiola has more in the Premier League.
Conte also demanded at least £ 100 million for a total reboot of the lineup. London felt that a commitment to the coach could drive the club into a serious financial hole if it did not succeed.
