Bloodshed “Manchester City” had a good deal of poking fun at an opponent who was recently called a contender for the title. Chelsea are in big trouble.
By the 34th minute City were leading with the score 3: 0. The attacking group had an outstanding half. Gundogan sets personal performance records. The footballer scored the winning goal with a long shot from under the central defender Silva. True, Mendy disappointed – the Chelsea goalkeeper could have done much better.
Phil Foden took advantage of De Bruyne’s amazing pass three minutes later. And then the Belgian himself finished off the ball into the net after City completed the attack with a kick to the post. Chelsea never came to life in this match.
In the second half, Lampard released several young players and even Havertz, but all his efforts went into the void. The only goal in the end had no impact on anything.
City are already one point behind the leaders in terms of lost points, while Chelsea should focus on Arsenal. The team is in eighth place in the Premier League.
