Week 37 Premier League Predictions 2016-17

Each week I take a look at the Premier League fixtures, table, and statistics to provide a brief analysis and predictions including FPL matchups and FPL tips for week 37.  Get your fantasy tips here to set your team whether you play in the official FPL game, daily fantasy, or a draft fantasy Premier League game.

This is most likely the weekend in which Chelsea wins the Premier League, and on a Friday no less. With Friday having two matches, it makes for an exciting weekend of soccer which gets even better with additional midweek matches.

Week 37 FPL Tips:

With the big double gameweek this weekend there are many questions about what to expect and who to pick. With Chelsea most likely winning the league in Friday’s away match against West Brom a big question for FPL managers is whether Conte will be resting players for Monday’s match against Watford. This could throw a wrench into many plans including the choice of captain’s pick with Hazard and Costa being big favorites for the armband.

Another team to watch out for players being rested is Manchester United. With the Red Devils going to Stockholm for the Europa League final, this is a great chance to start resting players. Top four is out of their hands at this point and with the number of matches already played, this is a great time for Mourinho to start resting players and prepare for their one shot at making the Champions League next season.

Tottenham could see a drop off now that their distant title hopes have been dashed yet again, but they still have pride and a second place finish to play for meaning they should be excellent picks for their two matches.

Everton and Arsenal are two others that should be good choices for the double gameweek. Perhaps an even better pick is Leicester City. They have back to back wins and both Vardy and Mahrez are in good form.

Southampton could be a decent pick, but is also a difficult one considering their dip in form having picked up just 6 points in their last 6 matches and their last win came back on April 8.

Don’t forget to use your chips with just two gameweeks remaining. My own plan is to use bench boost for this double gameweek and all out attack in the final week. Good luck everyone and have fun!
