Week 30 Premier League predictions

Week 30 Premier League PredictionsThe dreaded week 30 is here for all FPL managers. The week of matches in which there are just five matches being played. This means only ten teams will be playing Premier League matches while the remainder are involved in the FA Cup.

There are still plenty of excellent FPL picks available for week 30 despite the shortage of matches. While the limit in matches means that playing in a draft league or a salary game is more difficult, it leaves you with plenty of options in DFS games. Just be sure to find those few differential players to set your team apart from all the others.

If you are participating in the official FPL game I hope that you have already been working on setting your lineup for this week, otherwise, it’s likely that you won’t have 11 eligible players. If this is the case, I would definitely avoid using your wild card just to try to catch up. Use your free transfer and take a -4 hit at the very most, otherwise, just do your best to put out a team.

My captain’s pick for this weekend is the obvious Sergio Aguero. He scored two against Aston Villa and the Norwich defense has allowed just one goal fewer than Villa this season. If you want a differential you could go with one of the Bournemouth strikers, Benik Afobe, Joshua King, or Max Gradel. With Bournemouth playing well recently there should be goals coming against Swansea. Of course Harry Kane is a solid captain choice facing off against the worst defense in the league.

The big stacks for the weekend are very obvious with Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City all playing the three worst teams in the league this weekend. If you are looking for differentials both Bournemouth and Swansea players are good picks while Stoke and Southampton have strong midfielders and my predictions include goals for all four sides in their fixtures this weekend.

Whatever format of fantasy Premier League you participate in, be aware of who is playing and which players are in form at the moment. Set yourself up to win, but be sure to look out for the differentials to set your team apart from all the others that will also be setting up the big three stacks for week 30. Good luck and have fun!
