Week 16 Premier League predictions and FPL matchups

week 16 premier league predictionsEvery weekend I can’t help but think Leicester City will start to slide and Chelsea will start winning. Week 16 is no different with the two teams taking each other on in the Monday night match. It will certainly be an interesting match and a great way to cap the weekend.

For week 16 in the Premier League there are plenty more matches to look at in terms of Premier League table repercussions. Arsenal and Man C are both expected to win and could retake first and second if Chelsea finally find some winning form. Manchester United should win, but it won’t be an easy match against high flying Bournemouth who have picked up five points in their last three matches.

Elsewhere Aston Villa, Sunderland, and Newcastle United have difficult matches, but still have every chance of picking up a result. Still, I’m predicting losses for all three.

Here are the week 16 Premier League predictions:

Monday, December 14

In the week 16 Premier League matches there are several to look at for FPL matchups. If you are looking to stack players from specific teams then I would recommend Everton, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Watford.

Norwich have several players that are worth a pick, especially considering Everton’s shoddy defense at times this season. Crystal Palace and Southampton could both entertain with goals and have defensive players worth a look at for their attacking points.

Then there is the marquee matchup of top of the table Leicester versus bottom half stragglers Chelsea. Leicester continue to have top FPL players that keep scoring points while Chelsea remain a team in decline. It might still be worth a shot to have Eden Hazard in your team or even Willian, but I would avoid any defensive players. Chelsea has already allowed 24 goals this season while Leicester has scored 32.

Hopefully some of this can help guide your FPL team this weekend whether you play in a season long league or are participating in weekly DFS matches. Good luck and have fun!
