Gameweek 33 Fantasy Premier League Tips

Fantasy Premier League TipsA shortened gameweek greets us for week 33 Premier League matches. With the FA Cup semifinals taking place this weekend we will be without six teams which certainly limits your choices when making up your fantasy Premier League team.

This weekend is made a bit more difficult by the fact that there are going to be some double game weeks coming up. Gameweek 34 features Chelsea, Leicester City, Hull City, and Liverpool all with double games. This is followed up by a double game week in week 37 for Arsenal and Sunderland.

This weekend is going to be critical to preparing your teams for these upcoming weeks and ensuring that you are able to maximize points both this week and in the coming fantasy Premier League weekends.

For this weekend the two major picks to look at are Crystal Palace and Southampton. Palace have several promising attacking options while the Saints defense looks good against Stoke City.

The difficulty with Crystal Palace is making a decision about which players to pick. Glenn Murray looks an excellent selection up front, but choosing one of their in-form midfielders is a bit hit or miss. Yannick Bolasie had a career match against Sunderland last week, but it’s difficult to say if he can keep it up this weekend.

In addition to Bolasie there are choices to be made with Jason Puncheon or Wilfried Zaha.

Another team to watch out for in gameweek 33 is Man C facing off against West Ham United. The Hammers look like they are done with this season which means that City has a very good chance to score several goals. The question is whether they will be motivated enough to do so after this past month of poor results.

Sergio Aguero scored two goals in last week’s Manchester Derby and looks good for more this weekend. Other picks include David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta.

For this weekend I’m including my FPL player rankings and hope that this can give you some guidance as well for picking your team.
