Premier League Predictions: Todd’s Week 38 EPL Picks

Premier League Picks and Predictions 2013-14

The final week of the Premier League is here. Week 38 matches will all be played on Sunday, May 11 with kickoff at 10:00 am. My picks and predictions for the last weekend in the EPL can be found below.

Liverpool’s slip-up (literally) in the last two matches means that the Premier League is in Manchester City’s hands at this point. A win, or draw, on Sunday will mean they walk away with their second Premier League trophy in three years.

At the bottom of the table, Fulham and Cardiff City have already been relegated while Norwich are all but down as well. Even if they manage to win on Sunday, they would still need West Brom to lose and would need to make up a 17 goal difference to go level (Norwich has taken both matches between the two this EPL season).

What all of this means is that the last day of the season is shaping up to be quite anticlimactic. Manchester City and Liverpool are both favored to win their matches and Manchester City has the momentum swing in their favor at the moment making them the clear favorites to go on an win the title.

The rest of the league is left with not much to play for. There are teams playing for a higher position and possibly a larger bonus, but otherwise, all that is left on the line is a bit of pride.
