The 2014 World Cup draw has been made for the group stages in this summer’s premier international soccer tournament. The results of the draw include some interesting group’s and this year there will not be just one “Group of Death.”
The drawing of the groups is a complicated one and something that I will not get into on here. The basic idea is that teams are placed into several pots based on their performances in qualifying and their location. They are then picked from each pot to be placed into a group.
