The week 12 Premier League Predictions have been posted, so go read up on my EPL picks for the weekend. Be sure to also check out the Premier League TV Schedule and 2013-14 Premier League Table.

West Brom have looked good over the past few weeks, with, perhaps, the exception of their 4-1 away loss to Liverpool. In their last six matches they have beaten Manchester United and drawn with Arsenal and Chelsea. Against Chelsea they looked like the better team for most of the match and should have won if it weren’t for poor defending on the first goal and terrible refereeing for the second.

Aston Villa has had some ups and downs this season after starting out with a big win over Arsenal. They have also managed to beat Manchester City, but then have played to 0-0 draws against Hull City and West Ham United. In week 11 they did come through with a 2-0 home win over Cardiff City. On the road this season they have gone 2-2-1 and kept two clean sheets in their 0-0 draws.

My prediction is for a West Brom win. Both teams have shown bright spots this season as well as defensive frailties at times. This should be a good match and one that, in reality, could go either way. I give West Brom the edge since they are the home team, but Villa could get a result. In both of last season’s matches they drew both with a score of 2-2 at West Brom in the second half of the season.

Betting Odds: West Brom win: 2.03-2.14; Draw: 3.39-3.50; Aston Villa win: 3.70-3.92

Form: West Brom (W, D, D, L, W, D) Aston Villa (W, D, L, L, D, W)

Prediction: West Brom 2 – 0 Aston Villa
