Saturday’s week 7 EPL matches included highlights in several matches. Video is available for these Premier League games below.
Manchester City started off the day by ending Everton’s unbeaten run. An interesting statistic from that one being that to start this season Everton have not lost a match when Gareth Barry has played.
Newcastle United got back into winning form by beating Cardiff City away while Fulham were finally able to get themselves another win at home to Stoke City. Hull and Aston Villa played to a 0-0 draw, which does end up being a decent result for both clubs.
Liverpool ran rampant over Crystal Palace. Their third goal from the penalty spot was a fairly soft penalty, but that should not detract any from what was a dominant first half performance. They did let up a bit in the second half, but they were never in any danger despite giving up a goal from a set piece.
Manchester United got off to a horrid start against bottom of the table Sunderland by going down 1-0 in only the fifth minute thanks to some terrible defending. Sunderland should have had at least a three goal lead at the half, with United’s defense looking tattered, but David De Gea really kept them in it. United’s 18 year old winger, Adnan Januzaj, looked confident and put in a man of the match performance in his first Premier League start. He went on to score a brace and give United all three points.
