Manchester City laid their own stake on the Premier League title in their 4-1 home win over reigning Champions Manchester United. They were dominant and impressive throughout the match.

Aston Villa may be sitting in 13th place with three losses, but they have six points and are playing nice attacking football. They have scored six goals, but the defense is the worrying part as they have also allowed six goals.

In last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Norwich City Christian Benteke was subbed off with an injury. In his place the youngster Libor Kozak was able to score the only goal, however, Paul Lambert and the Aston Villa faithful will certainly be hoping that Benteke will be fit to return this coming Saturday.

Brad Guzan has been one of the best players on the team, which isn’t really a great thing since this means he is getting far too much action than he should. Villa’s greatest weakness continues to be their defense, which is worrying considering Manchester City’s recent form as well as their 12 goals scored already this season.

My prediction is for a Manchester City win. It would be a big shock if Villa were to get any result at all. Villa do have a chance of scoring, particularly if Benteke is fit and able to play. This could be a match that turns into another rout by Man City.

Betting Odds: Aston Villa win: 5.87-6.52; Draw: 3.93-4.25; Man City win: 1.56-1.58

Form: Aston Villa (W, L, L, L, W)     Man City (W, L, W, D, W)

Prediction: Aston Villa 1 – 3 Manchester City
