Each week Fantasy Friday will bring tips for Premier League fantasy leagues including matchups to watch out for. Keep up to date on players injured, suspended or questionable for each week.
In week 3 of the EPL there are several interesting match-ups and not many that will help out fantasy teams a whole lot. It seems that teams have been playing rather defensively to start the season, but not quite enough to recommend a clean sheet.
I would say that Mancester City has the best chance of a clean sheet this weekend as well as the best chance for scoring goals. Picking up David Silva, Sergio Aguero or Edin Dzeko along with Joe Hart could be quality buys this weekend.
Up front I would recommend Robin van Persie who has been deadly against Liverpool. If Wayne Rooney is able to put in another display like he did against Chelsea he would be a quality midfield pick as well.
Don’t forget that both Chelsea and Aston Villa are off this weekend so be sure to drop any players from those two teams. Instead look at some cheap pickups from West Ham United or even Fulham who could do well against a struggling Newcastle United side.
