I believe this match should be a good one. Both teams like to play attacking, stylish football with lots of passing on the ground and striking options up front. Both Tottenham and Swansea have progressive, young managers making a name for themselves and pushing their teams for higher positions in the EPL.

Tottenham Hotspur began their season with a good performance against Crystal Palace and came away with a 1-0 win. Their new signing, Roberto Soldado, put away their penalty for his first goal with the club. That said, Tottenham should have done more with the ball.

They had 53% of the possession and took 17 shots with three on target. With stats like that, they really should have gotten more goals. However, they did do this all without Gareth Bale and a win is a win.

Swansea did play well against the reigning EPL Champions, Manchester United, despite losing 4-1. They had a lot of possession (51%) and were passing the ball around well, but, like Tottenham, need to do more with their attack. They had 17 shots with six on target. Their one goal did come from their new signing, Wilfried Bony, which is a good start for him.

For Sunday’s match my prediction is a Tottenham win. It will not be easy, but I am giving them the advantage since they are at home. If Swansea play well and test the keeper like they did against Manchester United, they could get themselves a goal to force a draw or even come away with a win. This is one match that betting on will not be easy.

Form: Tottenham Hotspur (W)     Swansea City (L)

Prediction: Tottenham 1 – 0 Swansea
