Queens Park Rangers needs a win in the Premier League. It’s that simple. Will they get one? Fulham will certainly feel that they can do enough to hold off QPR, especially after their 1-0 win over Tottenham during the last EPL weekend.
A win for QPR would make the battle at the bottom a little more interesting, but I don’t think it will be enough to pull them out of the drop. They have been too poor all year. They have managed some interesting results, especially their back to back wins a few weeks back, but I don’t think they have enough to get past Fulham.
Fulham hasn’t been exactly flash this season. They should probably be much higher in the table with the team they have, but too often have been unimpressive. This could also be said of their star striker Dimitar Berbatov. Despite his view of himself as a leader of the team, too often he gets lost and is unimpressive. Even against Tottenham he managed the only goal of the match, but that was about the only bit of positive play he contributed.
My prediction is a Fulham win. I think Berbatov will come through and lead them to a win, but this could be more to do with QPR’s frailties.
Fulham (L, D, W, D, W) 2 – 1 QPR (L, L, W, W, L)
