Chelsea dominated play throughout the first half with 11 shots and 6 on target. West Ham had a few decent chances, but the Chelsea defense did well to keep them out.
Chelsea’s second half continued much like the first. They managed to squander several excellent chances. Chelsea’s second goal came after some excellent passing led to Eden Hazard dribbling across the box and shooting low into the near post corner. Chelsea looked comfortable for most of the match despite West Ham’s rough play.
With the win Chelsea move back into third place, yet again, 1 point above Tottenham and 5 points ahead of Arsenal.
