I was not surprised by this score or the Fulham win. Aston Villa clung on to the 0-0 draw as long as possible, but Fulham did just enough to secure the 3 points. Benteke had a clear chance to score inside 6 yards, but somehow missed the target completely. Berbatov was industrious for Fulham but it was Baird who got their only goal.
I predicted a win for Fulham which they managed, if only by 1 goal instead of 2.
