Premier League Scores: Result and highlights from the EPL fixture between West Bromwich Albion v Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, October 6, 2012

Result: West Bromwich Albion 3 – 2 Queens Park Rangers

Where: The Hawthorns – West Bromwich Albion

I was pleased to see West Brom come away with another win to put them at 14 points and in 4th place just behind Everton on goal difference. Whether or not they can keep this form through the season and possibly finish in the top 10 would certainly be interesting.

Queens Park Rangers put in yet another disappointing match. They dominated in possession (55%-45%), but didn’t seem to know what to do with it. The 2 goals could be chalked up as much to their own ability as to a let up on West Brom’s part. They have the players and they have the ability, but something just isn’t going right.

I would be interested to see what happens with QPR after the international break, and more importantly what happens to Mark Hughes. He has not had a great track record of managing in the Premier League. He started off okay as manager of Blackburn but since then has been sacked and asked to resign by Manchester City and Fulham. He currently has the backing of QPR owner Tony Fernandez, but for how long? I don’t expect anything to be done soon, but if things don’t change in the win/loss department the manager may be on his way out in January.
