Premier League Referees Under Severe Scrutiny After a String of Questionable Decisions

In the match between West Bromwich and Hull City, the header scored by Gareth McAuley’s was awarded by the referee while the close-range strike by Antonio Valencia was ruled out in the match between Manchester United and West Ham. In both situations, it was not clear if the ball crossed the line or not, with the referees unable to make correct decision since they were only able to get a quick glimpse through a mass of players.
